Jaya is currently in her final year of undergraduate studies, completing her Bachelor of Science with a Specialization in Environmental Science at Western University. She plans to continue to pursue studies in environmental science and sustainability. Her interests lie in ecological restoration, environmental protection and strengthening communities disproportionately affected by the effects of climate change. 
She will be joining the TEST Lab as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in January, 2026 to aid in coordinating with students and presenters, as well as in organizing the Lab’s MS Teams space and meetings.
