Ally

Ally considers herself a citizen of the globe with roots in Kenya. Growing up across six countries has shaped her values of community, respect, and connection to land and cultural heritage. Ally just completed an Honours Specialization in Global Development from Huron University and will begin a M.Sc. in Climate at Columbia University, NY this fall. Her work focuses on coastal climate resilience, indigenous self-determination, and community-led development, including interning with the international team at Aga Khan Foundation and researching grassroots advocacy in Kenya. She also runs a tote bag business supporting grassroots social and environmental initiatives in East and Southern Africa!
